A City gone Mad
The heroes emerge from the old fishery just in time to see the city descend into chaotic riots. Eventually a herald informs them that the king is dead. Most citizens immediately jump to the conclusion that his unpopular wife killed him and usurped the throne. The three arms of the law mobilise to quell the uprisings: the City Guard, the Sable Marines and the Hellknights. The hellknights being the most brutal.
The heroes help put out some 'spot fires' before dropping off their gnome captive at the guard house, Citadel Volshyenek.
They stay the night in Zellara's old home and learn that she is indeed dead and her spirit now resides in her old deck of Harrow cards. She manifests and thanks them for avenging her and her son.
Long live the Queen
Sol finds that he has a caught the Shakes from a mad prophet that he met the previous day, so the next day they visit the Bank of Abadar where they rather formally purchase the most suitable healing package. Afterwards they try again to visit the Heights, this time to return the queens brooch. Along the way Gritt stops off at the Sanctuary of Shelyn to see if any of them had lost the holy symbol they had found.
The heroes gain an audience with the queen without too much fuss, they also meet a beautiful swordmaiden dressed in a platemail mini-skirt who appears to be the Queen's right hand lady. The queen accepts the brooch with gratitude then sends them to the Guard to assist them in quelling the riots. The queen is decked out in black mourning attire, and appears to genuinely regret the circumstances that have come to pass.
All the Worlds Meet
The heroes return to Citadel Volshyenek where they meet Field Marshal Cressida Kroft. She thanks them for volunteering to help and asks them to bring a deserter back for questioning: Verik Vaskerkin.
Verik has taken over an old butchers shop called All the Worlds Meat. The heroes enter through a rear entrance and are quickly discovered. A fight breaks out and eventually Verik and his four lackies are subdued and taken alive.
A search discovered humanoid body bits in a sewerage pit. Further interrogation reveals that Verik's lackie have been hiring themselves out as thugs, killing their marks then butchering them and passing their flesh off as pork. Verik however seems to be oblivious to this scheme.
Gritt is angered by this and wants to hang them then and there, but Justin convinces him to let Field Marshal Kroft deal with it her way.

* RP Awards was awarded to Alex in part for his consistent effort to play in character, the clincher was the little scene in the Sanctuary of Shelyn. Funny voices etc are not enough, but trying to find a moment to show a different dimension to the character or genuinely funny in character moments is what will garner xp awards.
Honorable mention goes to Campbell for his inconsistent attempts at a funny voice and Jason for some good npc interaction and arguing not to hang the butchers
