Queen Ileosa is a noble woman from a prominent Cheliax family who arrived at Korvosa only a few short years ago. She quickly drew the affections of King Eodred who married her after a scandalously short courtship. She was only 17 years old when she took King Eodred's side and about one third his age. She has never been popular with the people and has been heard to call Korvosa a 'backwater colonial village'
When King Eodred died after a long fight with illness the people revolted blaming her for his death and refering to her as the Whore Queen.
